Four elected to BOCES Board

(April 23, 2008)
On April 21, the school boards of the BOCES 24 component school districts elected all four incumbents to the BOCES Board. Elected are: Sandra Beloncik, John Bergeron, John Phelan and John Yagielski. The new three-year term begins July 1, 2008.

Six running for four seats on BOCES Board

(April 2008) — Four of the 10 seats on the Capital Region BOCES Board of Education are up for election this year. The new three-year terms begin July 1, 2008 and end June 30, 2011. Component boards of education vote on the administrative budget and elect BOCES board members on April 21. The candidates running this year are:

Sandy Beloncik has represented Schenectady County on the BOCES Board since 2000. She is also a member of the Tech Valley High School and Schalmont Central School District Boards. Detailed Profile (PDF format)

John Bergeron is serving his 32nd year on the BOCES Board representing Schenectady County. He also sits on the Tech Valley High School Board of Education. Detailed Profile (PDF format)
