Three years ago, Special Education
teaching assistant Brenda Heritage met Cody Brown when he
began attending classes at Rotterdam Academy II. Having
spent most of his years in foster care and group home
settings, Cody came to the school’s program with severe
behavioral issues and difficulty making friends with kids
his own age.

NERIC plans Internet shutdown
this Saturday, September 25
Shutdown to last from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.
All NERIC services, including Internet
and phone, will be shutdown from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday,
September 25.
This shutdown will allow NERIC to complete a number of
equipment and network upgrades to strengthen its servers,
electrical power, Internet capacity and data storage
capabilities. This upgrade will ensure NERIC can provide
fully reliable and dynamic services, as well as expand its
offerings to districts.
