A
new look:
Introducing the new Capital Region BOCES logo
With the
new school year comes a new logo for Capital Region BOCES,
communicating our global view of education, location in the
Capital Region of New York and focus on children.

District Superintendent Charles Dedrick unveiled the new
BOCES logo as
part of Opening Day on Sept. 2, and noted it will
be used on new business card and letterhead designs, in an
effort to standardize Capital Region BOCES materials and
create the feeling of one united organization.
Rollout of the new logo is expected to take a year, and
staff are encouraged to use all existing stationary,
handouts, etc. bearing the old logo before switching to the
new one.
Steps to rollout the new logo and stationary are:
• The new logos, in several different formats and including
black and white and color versions, are available for all
staff in the shared P-drive. To access the logos, go to
your shared drive. On a PC, click on “My Computer” and then
open the “Crbpublic on Caprime\Crbpublic’ (P:)” drive. Open
the “_CRB” folder, then the “_Common” folder. Inside the
“_Documents” folder is a folder called BOCES Logos+Letterhead. (The direct
address is: P:\_CRB\_Common\_Documents\BOCES Logos+Letterhead). If you
have problems accessing the P-drive, contact the NERIC Help
Desk. If you have any questions about the logos, please
contact Megan Allen in communications, at 464-3978 or
mallen@gw.neric.org.
• Letterhead, envelope and business card templates have been
created with the new logo in a way that will create a
standardized look while still giving programs and divisions
the ability to personalize their stationary to meet their
unique needs. Details on how to use the letterhead templates
and print business cards and envelopes are being
communicated through division administrators. The letterhead
templates are available in the shared drive (in the same
address as the logos, detailed above). If you have
questions, please contact Megan Allen at 464-3958 or
mallen@gw.neric.org
