Capital Region BOCES Career and Technical School (CTE) cosmetology students will throw open their classroom doors to the public on Oct. 28 to raise funds for breast cancer research.
Students will conduct a day-long spa on the Albany CTE campus with all of the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.
Colorful hair extensions, hairstyling, manicures and pedicures are just some of the services that will be offered during the clinic, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the CTE school, located at 1015 Watervliet-Shaker Road in Albany (Colonie).

"We will be running a full-service salon with all of the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research," said teacher Pat Gollub.
