The
District
Superintendent of
Capital
Region BOCES oversees and guides
the
entire
operation
of
the
Capital
Region BOCES. In
addition, the DS serves
as
liaison
between
the
component
schools
and
the
State
Education
Department,
and
consultant
and
mentor
to
component
school
board
members
and
administrators.
The
District
Superintendent
also
serves
as
a
representative
in
the
field
for
the
New
York
State
Education
Commissioner,
Richard
P.
Mills.
