  This site provides links to information on data collection, data reporting and school/district accountability. It also provides the most current information on school/district accountability under NCLB, and the more recent NYSED press releases on the topic.
   

• 3-8 Testing Information
  This NYSED page provides the latest news on 3-8 testing in both English Language Arts and mathematics in NYS public schools.
   

• Schools/Districts in Need of Improvement (SINI, DINI)
  This page gives the lists of schools and districts considered "In Need of Improvement." Both lists were released in January 2007. 
   

• State Benchmarks/AMOs for 2005-06, 2006-07 and 2007-08
  This site gives the State Benchmarks and Annual Measurable Objectives for English language arts, mathematics and graduation rates for the 2005-2006, 2006-2007, and 2007-08 school years.
   

• Supplemental Educational Services
  This page provides information on supplemental educational services as well as a list of local SES providers.
   

• State Examination Schedules
  Links to dates for elementary, MS and Regents testing, make-up dates. Updated annually each spring.
   

• Just the Facts for NY Parents 
  This page offers .PDF and html versions (in English and Spanish) on topics including NCLB overview, report cards, SINI, public school choice, supplemental services, LEP students, teacher qualifications, parent involvement policies.

  Lots of local schools labeled as Schools in Need of Improvement are implementing this program.
