POSITION:                Principal–Interim (5/1/07–6/30/07)     

 

LOCATION:              Special Education - Wembley Court

 

Basic Function:         To provide instructional and supervisory leadership in a variety of Special Education BOCES programs for children with disabilities. 

 

Qualifications:           Three to five years of classroom experience is preferred.  Candidates must possess at least a Master’s Degree and New York State Certification as a School Administrator and Supervisor.  Ability to manage personnel in the delivery of services and curriculum development in a broad range of special education programs. 

 

Responsibilities:        To ensure that programs and services are implemented in a quality manner by assigned personnel pursuant to the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education.

 

Starting Date:                        May 1, 2007   

 

Deadline for Applying:          April 6, 2007

Application should include a letter of interest, resume, references and proof of certification.     

                         

Starting Salary:         $71,282 - $81,974

The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.
