POSITION:                Lead Skills USA Advisors (2 positions)           

LOCATION:              Career and Technical Education – 1 Albany and 1 Schoharie Campus

Basic Function:         Assume the responsibility of establishing a Skills USA Club, providing the ongoing leadership, enthusiasm and guidance needed to operate a progressive Skills USA program at the Albany and Schoharie Campuses.

Qualifications:           Member of the Albany and Schoharie Career and Technical Teacher Unit.

Responsibilities:        The Lead Skills USA Advisor must be knowledgeable about the Skills USA organization, provide meaningful activities, initiate student and staff involvement, foster leadership development, provide training and oversee the keeping of records and financial activities in a timely fashion.

Starting Date:                        September 1, 2008      

Deadline for Applying:           May 12, 2008

Starting Salary:                     $1,265 stipend

The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.  BOCES employees who have worked during the 2007-08 school year will have met the above requirements.
