POSITION:
Skills USA Advisors (8 positions)
LOCATION: Career and
Technical Education – 6 Albany and 2 Schoharie Campus
Basic Function:
Assist the Lead Skills USA Advisor in the responsibility
of providing the ongoing leadership, enthusiasm and
guidance needed to operate a progressive Skills USA
program at the Albany and Schoharie Campuses.
Qualifications:
Member of the Albany and Schoharie Career and Technical
Education School Teacher Unit.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Skills USA Advisor in providing
meaningful input and support in the organization of a
Skills USA Club. The Skills USA Advisor will assist in
the fostering of student and staff involvement,
performing training activities, aid in the keeping of
records and financial activities and performing various
tasks essential to the development of occupational and
leadership skills training for our students.
Starting Date:
September 1, 2008

Starting Salary:
$632.50 stipend
The

history background check in accordance with SAVE
Legislation effective July 1, 2001. BOCES employees who
have worked during the 2007-08 school year will have met
